Alrewas, the NMA and Lichfield
Alrewas is one of the oldest recorded communities in the
Midlands. The Trent and Mersey Canal runing through with bridges and locks, tow paths and very picturesque walks.
Amber House is within 5 minutes walk of the village pubs, indian restaurant, a fish & chip shop, the takeaway and 'Coates' a wonderful traditional family butchers (by Royal Appointment). There is also a hairdressers, dentist, doctors surgery, for everything you may need en-route.
The National Memorial Arboretum is only half a mile away. It is frequently visited by all members of the Royal Family, and for motorcycle lovers, the RTTW is staged every October (when 5000+ bikes ride to the Wall).

Situated in the National Forest, Amber House is featured in 'Destination Staffordshire' as the closest B&B to the NMA with excellent facilities.
